2. Four Necessary Elements

Silence

Go to a special place away from all distractions where you can sink into the sights and sounds of Nature, and listen for God. Saint Teresa of Calcutta tells us that “God is a friend of silence. He cannot be found in noise and restlessness.”

God’s Presence

Saint Paul tells us that the revelation of God in Nature is so stirring and prevailing that “His invisible [divine] attributes…[are] able to be…perceived in what He has made.” Romans 1:20

Stillness

You must learn to still your heart, mind, and being. You must free your consciousness of that churning inside involving lists, responsibilities, and schedules. Then, let Nature draw you in, and hear God’s voice.

Question

Now, in your own words, ask Him to speak to you and help you recognize His message.
